The Canduit Project SciFi

The Canduit Project provides a glimpse into the near future when a giant rock from outer space threatens to destroy all life forms on our planet. A group of brilliant people with the help of some enlightened billionaires managed to build the necessary equipment to deflect the monster rock.
An electromagnetic space-craft launching tunnel, a rotating space station and a moon base were built. During the construction of the moon-base a fair-sized underground lake was discovered. This lake, now known as Lake Surprise, has since become the ultimate tourist attraction. When the Terminator, as it was called, returned the deflection crew was ready and managed to give it a good kick in the butt, which propelled it into a save orbit. The collective near death experience caused mankind to elevate itself to a higher level of consciousness.
All of a sudden people realized our tendency to make wars would only lead to our destruction. Therefore wars were outlawed and a new golden age began; mankind started to work together like never before. Clear cutting of forests was not permitted any more and trees were planted all over the planet. Giant airships were built to allow the general public to fly around the world and drink in the beauty of our planet. Space tourism became quite common and Lake Surprise received top markings, as did trips to the rotating space station; and no doubt to see our planet from above is a very emotional experience.
On the moon professor Bernstein was in charge of the industrial installations. His coworkers called him Twelvestein because he was twelve times as smart as Einstein. This had something to do with his mother's diet during her pregnancy. He invented various spacecraft-drives and eventually a time machine. With this remarkable invention he explored our past and I was privileged to come along. This experience can only be described as far out.
There are a lot of interesting ideas in this book and it is very enjoyable to read. Werner

Agent M: Project Mabus SciFi

The end has begun! Through the might of science, the third antichrist predicted by Nostradamus has arrived. The frustrations of the Cold War inspired a secret government project to create the ultimate human soldier. One that is stronger, smarter, quicker, and able to sustain the harsh weather conditions of the Soviet Union battlefront. Initial attempts failed miserably. Agent M, a drug that would mutate human physiology was deemed too dangerous for field use. This motivated the architect, Dr. Donald Viseman, to develop a new synthetic embryo that would breed new soldiers in lieu of modifying old ones. He succeeded and Project Mabus was born.

Once the war ended, the project was forcefully terminated with the child presumed terminated. Two decades later, he resurfaced as an enforcer for America’s old nemesis. The most powerful being in existence seeks vengeance against those who wronged him, starting with this great nation.

Meryl Lewis has quit her tenure at the LAPD making her the smart, tough, and impulsive new member of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Her extensive skills and abilities has paired her with the bureau’s top agent and former best friend Michael Madison, the man responsible for taking down the FBI’s Most Wanted Fugitives single-handedly. In his latest assignment, Michael has become the target for assassination. The rising pharmaceutical company under investigation has somehow obtained the lost Agent M formula, modified it, and built their empire upon it. They will utilize all of the resources available to protect themselves from Michael’s legendary notoriety. Even if it means hiring the ultimate solider.

Agent M: Project Mabus is the beginning of this science fiction crime-thriller series counting down to the prophesied end of days. Meryl and Michael reunite in this fast-paced, action oriented thrill ride, tracking down the people trying to kill them and leading into the suspenseful final confrontation with the forgotten child destined to destroy the world.

The moral implications of science versus religion and their constant struggle to dominate the hearts and minds of society will be tested. Readers won’t want to miss the flagship story of The Agent M Series. The countdown to devastation has begun and the end starts here.

The Sword and the Dragon SciFi

The Sword and the Dragon
Deemed one of the top 10 indie Fantasy releases of 2010 by Fantasy Book Critic, and listed in the first ever Publishers Weekly Indie Select issue, this 235k word epic title was originally written in longhand in a Texas prison cell by M. R. Mathias.

The Sword and the Dragon

When the Royal Wizard of Westland poisons the king so that his puppet prince can take the throne and start a continental war, a young squire is forced to run for his life carrying the powerful sword that his dying monarch burdened him with from the death bed.

Two brothers find a magic ring and start on paths to becoming the most powerful sort of enemies, while an evil young sorceress unwillingly falls in love with one of them when he agrees to help her steal a dragon's egg for her father. Her father just happens to be the Royal Wizard, and despite his daughter's feelings, he would love nothing more than to sacrifice the boy!

All of these characters, along with the Wolf King of Wildermont, the Lion Lord of Westland, and a magical hawk named Talon, are on a collision course toward Willa the Witch Queen's palace in the distant kingdom of Highwander. There the very bedrock is formed of the powerful magical substance called Wardstone.

Who are the heroes? And will they get there before the Royal Wizard and his evil hordes do?

Whatever happens, the journey will be spectacular, and the confrontation will be cataclysmic.
